I like working with PURE because I get to volunteer for a good cause with really cool people. Helping to provide kids with education is something that can make a profound effect in communities around the world, and it’s great to do that along with the other volunteers, who are really friendly and cool. Working with PURE, even though I joined very recently, taught me quite a bit about teamwork and getting along with other people, since I tended to avoid working in groups before I joined. My purpose in joining PURE was to gain volunteer hours for school and to actually make a good impact in the community, even if it might be small. PURE is a great way to do both at the same time. It’s a powerful tool that teaches people what they need to gain financial and social autonomy, which are vital to individuals in our society. There is nothing more than giving life to most needed while having fun. We at PURE St Johns chapter brainstorm what is fun way to fund raise. We have been working like a family for an extended family. PURE ambassadors should not work on what they are given. They have to come up with great fundraising ideas by brainstorming. Try a few ideas based on their skills. Each ambassador have to step into what they are great at. Your time you put into volunteering at PURE should teach something valuable.

I was so excited to see the email that my book project was funded! I’m very appreciative of everyone that gave to get students off to a bright start! I can’tt wait to see their faces when the books are delivered to our classroom. They are going to be so excited and really benefit so much.
